Memory

I've been involved in the making of Memory; a Spinneyhead Presents production. Originally I'd been involved from the beginning to compose the music for the series of shorts, including a trailer, intro fanfares and outro. We're talking about 5 episodes, each of 3-5 minutes. The episodes are being released as part of the Not Manchester Festival.
Episode 3 was released on Friday just gone, expect the remaining 2 episodes on the following 2 Fridays.

Although I was intended to compose the music for the series, I ended up cleaning up the audio recordings from the location shoots, looping, mixing and producing the final audio mix. Proportionally I spent a much larger percentage of the time in these stages than in the composing.

I'll write an article on the lessons learnt soon, they will be different to those already listed on Spinneyhead. I'm comfortable with being critical and giving you all something to learn. Memory was a great debut for Spinneyhead Presents and we're ending up with a finished product. Along the way, there were lots of lessons.
